(#1107) - SLR60 Tape Drive
For IBM System p and IBM System i servers, this QIC format tape drive, with 37.5 GB native data physical capacity per tape cartridge and a native physical data transfer rate of up to 8 MB per second, uses 2:1 compression to achieve a single tape cartridge physical capacity up to 75 GB of data. The SLR60 Tape Drive is designed to be read and write compatible with other SLR (5 GB, 30 GB, an 37.5 GB only), MLR3, and MLR1 QIC tape formats, and is read-compatible with all QIC-4GB (SLR5) and QIC-2GB tape formats. It is also designed to be read-only compatible with MLR1, SLR5, and DC9250 QIC formats.
