(#1811) - GX Dual-port 4x HCA
The #1811, GX Dual-port 4x Host Channel Adapter, provides the attachment to supported InfiniBand switches. The adapter plugs into the GX bus slot of the p5-575. Connection to supported InfiniBand switches are accomplished by using the 4x Cables. Within the rack, the location of the #1811 will alternate between the left side and the right side of the p5-575 for cable management. #1811 occupies the space of one PCI-X adapter within the server, reducing the available PCI-X slots by one.
