Provides a 15k rpm disk unit with 146.8GB of storage capacity and an industry standard Ultra320 SCSI interface speed of up to 320MBps. #1298 is installed in a #5786 TotalStorage EXP24 Disk Drawer or a #5787 TotalStorage EXP24 Disk Tower. #1298 is physically identical to a #1898 disk unit, but it has a different feature number to enable IBM configuration tools to better understand its placement.
